1985: I remember watching the short film a few month's back. It was so sweet yet heartbreaking. It was filmed in color. The story wasn't complete and that's where the movie comes handy. Adrian Lester's story is so great yet so tragic and sad you can't hold up your tears. His family has also so many secrets you could all be amazed. It's like they all have trust issues. But going back to Adrian, the story that took me more into deep waters was his with his brother Andrew. My honest review: When I discovered this was from the director of "La La Land", I suddenly knew what would happen. I never liked that movie to start with. People sold it to me as a musical...in my opinion it wasn't. You may think it broke with the typical "musical stereotype" but it didn't coz it is NOT a musical. So again, when I discovered he directed this other film...I had my issues. First Man is a movie that some people sold it to me like "we will finally see the woman's version of the story" but I kept seeing the same story from the eyes of "Neil". How many times we need to hear and see him go to the moon? Let the man rest in peace go
